About The Position

The Sr. Director of Dining Services oversees day-to-day foodservice operations, leads a team of employees, manages client relationships and account profitability, and supports talent development. The role is with Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, serving patients, caregivers, and communities while maintaining high standards of quality and operational excellence.

Requirements

• At least five years of proven leadership expertise.
• Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management experience, including inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Must be forward-thinking and proactive, and serve as the face of the company.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent additional years of experience.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience.
• ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate the department in accordance with the approved budget while providing the client with maximum value.
• Ensure food offered to the client is of superior quality.
• Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients and other departments within the community.
• Promote the professional growth and development of the entire team.
• Foster strong interdepartmental relations and integrate dining services with the facility's plan of operations.
• Lead employees and manage client relationships, account profitability, and talent development.
