About The Position

The Sr. Director, Chief of Staff role requires an exceptional track record of building strong business partnerships, demonstrated success in critical thinking and problem solving, experience with complex analysis, and the ability to balance critical priorities across a wide range of responsibilities. The Chief of Staff should have experience in developing executive-ready presentations and telling a compelling story through data. This role involves leading the development and implementation of short and long-term strategic programs, understanding prioritization and delivery roadmaps, and identifying cross-tower dependencies to proactively manage impediments. The successful candidate will influence matrixed stakeholder teams, drive organizational processes, partner with communications to enhance the organizational brand, and assess the feasibility and planning of new projects. This position champions unpopular ideas, quickly gets up to speed on key topics, navigates the organization, drives organizational change and operational excellence, and serves as a trusted advisor. The role requires strong business judgment, influencing skills, leadership, integrity, facilitation, negotiation, mediation, meticulous organizational skills, follow-through, and the ability to work with little direction on complicated, sensitive assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 9 years of experience in Project Management, Process Management, or Program Management
  • At least 7 years of people management experience

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy development
  • 5+ years of experience in budgeting and labor strategy
  • 6+ years of experience driving organizational change and operational excellence
  • 3+ years of experience partnering with engineering and product teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of short and long term strategic programs for the organization in partnership with key stakeholders.
