About The Position
One of our direct clients is urgently looking for a Sr. DevOps Engineer in Bentonville, AR. This is a contract position with a duration of 6 to 12+ months.
Requirements
- Overall 10+ years of experience.
- Three (3+) years of experience in a DevOps role.
- Strong Analytical, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
- Experience in one or more of the following: Java, Python with strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and programming practices.
- Clear understanding of Agile development methodologies, DevOps, SRE best practices, and the product development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with development of CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Linux.
- Hands-on experience with System Administration.
- Hands-on experience with Git.
- Hands-on experience with Artifactory or similar Maven repos.
- Hands-on experience with Jira.
- Hands-on experience with Splunk.
- Hands-on experience with configuring of build jobs in Jenkins or similar services.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience in scripting: Ansible, Bash, Golang, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Ruby.
- Hands-on experience with Maven, Gradle, Node, Npm, Xcode Build, etc.
- Experience with monitoring tools: Dynatrace, Medusa, and Grafana.
- Experience with cloud technologies: MS Azure, GCP and Open Stack.
- Understanding of Networking (load balancers, packet tracers, etc).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Process-oriented with great documentation skills.
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
- Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.

- Experience with Testing Tools: Apache J-Meter, Gatling.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a high availability cloud infrastructure.
- Analyze the root cause of critical business and production issues.
- Set up infrastructure automation tools, monitoring, alerting, continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Set up network infrastructure, configuring and troubleshooting networking issues.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform Linux System Administration.
- Configure build jobs in Jenkins or similar services.
- Manage Kubernetes.
- Scripting using Ansible, Bash, Golang, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Ruby.
- Utilize Maven, Gradle, Node, Npm, Xcode Build, etc.
- Implement and manage monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Medusa, and Grafana.
- Work with cloud technologies such as MS Azure, GCP, and Open Stack.
- Troubleshoot issues with Web and App Servers like Apache and Tomcat.
- Document processes and follow best practices in an always-up, always-available service environment.
