About The Position
We are seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer with strong Linux and Unix skills, proficiency in shell scripting, and a solid understanding of build automation and CI/CD tools. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting and troubleshooting modern development tools, a test-driven development mindset, and automation experience. Experience with cloud-native principles, infrastructure automation, application telemetry, and Agile development is also desirable.
Requirements
- Linux experience with strong Unix skills and shell scripting proficiency.
- Solid understanding of build automation and CI/CD tools: Git, Groovy, Kotlin, Gerrit, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Nexus, Artifactory, Selenium, Python.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting modern development tools.
- Test-driven development mindset and automation experience.
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of Cloud Native principles (12-factor app).
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Fabric).
- Knowledge of application telemetry.
- Agile development experience.
- Experience supporting Java container-based applications.
- Involvement in the DevOps community (open-source contributions).
