About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering, with a strong focus on supporting cloud-native applications. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. This role requires a deep understanding of Kubernetes, cloud services, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering role supporting cloud-native applications.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes (EKS), including Helm, networking, and security.
• Serverless computing as it relates to CI/CD, Automation and IaC.
• Proven expertise building pipelines with Harness, Git, and associated CI/CD tooling.
• Proficient with Linux systems, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python or Golang.
• Solid understanding of AWS services: EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC, Route53, CloudWatch, etc.
• Experience with OS Internals (Building, Deploying and Software Operations).
• Deep knowledge of networking fundamentals: DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, Load Balancing.
• Strong understanding and experience with Storage as it relates to IO Operations with Development, Testing, Deployment and Operations.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration and provisioning.
• Working knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Strong experience in monitoring, logging, and alerting, particularly using New Relic.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other pub/sub systems.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot distributed production environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Harness, Git, and associated tooling.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS), including networking and security.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for cloud-native applications.
• Automate system administration tasks using scripting languages like Python or Golang.
• Monitor system performance, implement logging, and set up alerting systems.
• Troubleshoot and performance tune Linux systems.
• Manage and optimize storage solutions for development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Ensure robust networking fundamentals, including DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, and Load Balancing.
