Sr. DevOps Engineer

Position Overview: Join our quickly growing Engineering team at OfferFit to help design, improve, and scale OfferFit's self-learning AI platform. As a DevOps Engineer, you will apply your extensive knowledge in cloud management, software engineering, and DevOps best practices to support the advanced ML product. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to OfferFit's product strategy and roadmap. Work in a team that emphasizes development best practices and offers great mentorship and coaching.

• Apply extensive DevOps knowledge, including cloud management and billing optimization, observability and monitoring, security and authentication, high availability and disaster recovery, to the advanced ML product
• Utilize strong software engineering background to extend and enhance the platform, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and robustness
• Work closely with OfferFit engineers to understand their needs and make the developer experience more efficient and scalable
• Guide and mentor other engineers in DevOps best practices and architectures
• Proactively communicate with OfferFit engineers to announce upcoming infrastructure changes, ensuring smooth transitions
• Contribute to OfferFit's product strategy and roadmap by actively participating in discussions and providing valuable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful implementation of OfferFit for customers

• Extensive DevOps knowledge, including cloud management and billing optimization, observability and monitoring, security and authentication, high availability and disaster recovery
• Strong software engineering background
• Experience in guiding and mentoring other engineers in DevOps best practices and architectures
• Proactive communication skills
• Ability to contribute to product strategy and roadmap discussions
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with infrastructure technologies such as Kubernetes, GCP, BigQuery, Helm, Airflow, and Terraform
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, FastAPI, Pydantic), SQL, and REST APIs
• Exceptional coding skills with a focus on clean, modular code and good design
