Sr. Developer, Application Systems
About The Position
Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Sr. Developer, Application Systems to join their team. This role ensures efforts align with IT Enterprise Services to support customer-focused objectives and the IT Vision, acting as a collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, solutions, and services. The position is responsible for development support, design, programming, and implementation of custom processes within various enterprise systems and vendor-purchased applications. The Sr. Application Systems Developer will create technical specifications from business requirements, develop reusable web and database code components using C#, ASP.NET, XML, and SQL, and integrate with third-party applications, code, and APIs. This role will also drive citizen development within the application framework and work directly with business users to develop requirements ensuring business needs are met.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in the field of Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of programming languages and environments using structured techniques; system analysis and design principles.
- Advanced knowledge of developing reusable web and database code components using C#, ASP.NET, XML and/or SQL, and integrating with third party applications, code, and APIs.
- Hands on enterprise application troubleshooting experience.
- Proven coaching and mentoring skills.
- Working technical knowledge of Windows Operating systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft/Oracle database concepts.
- Working knowledge of process automation.
- Working knowledge of Agile Project Methodology.
- Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws; including SSAE16, HIPPA, and URAC.
- Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
- The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees

- Expertise in complex bot development and automating revenue-related workflows preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide responsive technical assistance and document configuration to support processes.
- Work independently to understand and document business needs.
- Work with additional functional teams to ensure optimal operations of application development.
- Support change control and testing processes for modifications to application systems.
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches to business needs.
- Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
- Develop and maintain documentation of custom processes.
- Provide backup administration support to other ASA teammates.
- Provide after-hours support.
- Development within Microsoft SaaS platforms including Teams, SharePoint, and CoPilot
- Development within the Microsot Power Platform with hands-on experience in RPA development, with expertise in complex bot development and automating revenue-related workflows preferred.
- Development within Atlassian SaaS platforms
- Development within Oracle Fusion, ORMB, OIC ERP platforms
- Development within Dynamics (D365) CRM Platform
- Development Administration within Data movement tools like SmartConnect
- Other duties as assigned
