Sr Application Developer

About The Position
The Sr Application Developer supports QVC, and is a team lead on our Digital Integration Services Team who delivers business impactful changes to new and existing systems. This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite in West Chester, PA several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, DE, NJ. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience with Java, REST APIs, and Spring Framework.
- Experience with system integration and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM).
- Understanding of application development, requirements, design, testing, and IT environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, code, and test programs from specifications.
- Participate in design and code reviews, explaining and supporting technical decisions.
- Work with business analysts, project managers and clients to clarify requirements.
- Assist and mentor junior team members.
- Contributes to the development of test plans, and prepare user and technical documentation.
- Provide first/second level troubleshooting and technical support, escalating issues when needed.
- Participate in technical design and project planning, estimating work effort and highlighting risks or delays.
