About The Position

The Senior Cyber Solution Engineer is the technical architect and authority for the firm’s security services. The role designs, customizes, and automates security platforms and solutions, leads their delivery to varied clients, and serves as the company’s technical representative in sales and executive briefings. The position includes defining standard configurations for client deployments, integrating network detection and response (NDR) tools with ticketing systems, advising clients and leadership on security risks, and providing customer-facing project and team leadership.

Requirements

At least 6 years of cybersecurity experience with a track record of leadership or project management.
Advanced Python scripting skills.
Cloud networking experience.
Mastery of LogScale, Zeek, and Suricata.
Advanced threat-hunting experience.
Advanced log and packet analysis experience.
Strong familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, and SASE; experience with multiple products in each solution class is preferred.
Customer-facing experience in previous roles.
Demonstrated project management and team leadership experience.
U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Secret clearance.
A master’s degree in Cybersecurity or an MBA with a technical focus, or at least 8 years of industry experience with a portfolio of contributed open-source security tools or documented architecture projects.

Nice To Haves

Consulting and/or technical sales experience.
Secret clearance or higher.
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISM certification.
GNFA (GIAC Network Forensic Analyst) certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Design and customize security platforms and solutions, including defining “Gold Image” configurations for client deployments.
Build complex API integrations between NDR tools and ticketing systems to streamline operations.
Lead delivery of security solutions to varied clients.
Serve as the technical authority in high-value sales calls and executive briefings.
Translate technical concepts into business-risk language for leadership.
Provide customer-facing project management and team leadership.
