About The Position

Responsible for providing exceptional customer service. This role involves receiving customer requests via telephone or email, analyzing these requests, providing necessary information, and routing them to the appropriate personnel. The representative will also analyze transactions, correct records, and adjust errors. A key part of the role includes supporting the Sales Region by providing samples for sales representatives and maintaining liaison with other departments to ensure order completion. Additionally, the position requires entering sales orders into the system, contacting customers to clarify omitted data, resolving customer questions regarding orders, providing price quotations, and tracking order status through various departments. The representative will also address and resolve EDI errors, assist with pricing management in SAP, and manage all key customer communications, including product discontinuation, changes to standard product specifications, planned shutdowns, and policy changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred; and three to five years related call center experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Proficiency in SAP and AS400 is preferred as daily use of both systems will be required.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress.

Responsibilities
