The Sr. Manager, Corporate Accounts, as a member of Rinnai’s Leadership Team, is responsible for developing and implementing Rinnai’s corporate accounts strategy across various segments including R&R, Multifamily, Single-Family Rental, Hospitality, and Food Services. This role involves leading a team, increasing market share, driving sales, and enhancing profitability within these segments. The position requires travel up to 75% within the territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and/or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated sales management experience.
  • Industry knowledge including but not limited to various outlined segments, and gas appliance industry knowledge.
  • Aggressive and seasoned in sales leadership, management, and direct selling.
  • Constructively manage direct reports to foster business and team growth.
  • Proven ability to influence customers and negotiate appropriate outcomes.
  • Proven ability to organize workloads effectively and prioritize key activities.
  • High level of analytical and administrative skills including report writing and formulation of business reports.

Responsibilities

  • Lead direct report team consisting of Corporate Account Managers that focus on securing sales, partnerships, specifications, and agreements with key accounts in each segment.
  • Responsible for achieving Annual Operating Plan sales targets in corporate accounts while positively impacting Operating Profit goals.
  • Develop strategic relationships at the corporate level within each segment (current and target) to drive product adoption, specification, establish agreements and generate new business.
  • Lead, direct and manage the activities of the Rinnai sales organization and Manufacturer Rep agencies to successfully execute Rinnai’s corporate accounts strategy.
  • Develop annual sales targets and report monthly sales progress and forecasts against stated targets.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Account Managers, Regional Sales Directors, and Manufacturer Representatives to ensure team is effectively maximizing Corporate Account opportunities to achieve corporate revenue and operating profit objectives.
  • Monitors market and competitive intelligence, interpret results and execute corrective actions to achieve sales target and profit margins.
  • Support New Product Development process by contributing market, segment and competitive intelligence.
  • Liaison between Rinnai Leadership team and field sales team focusing on clear, cascading communication regarding corporate accounts vision, priorities, and objectives.
  • Assist Rinnai’s Leadership Team in fully understanding CA Segment to structure and align resources accordingly.
  • Attend key industry events to meet with significant influencers and targets to identify new business opportunities.
  • Embrace and support growing business demands in a changing environment.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage team activities including sales, leads, opportunities, quoting, etc.
  • Lead, coach and develop direct report team, performing all managerial duties including annual performance reviews, individual development plans and merit considerations.
  • Travel to support direct reports, meet with new and existing customers in defined segments, drive revenue and operating profit growth as well key internal and industry events. Time and expenses are to be managed to meet stated revenue goals while remaining within expense budget parameters.
  • Manage all administrative duties including, but not limited to the following: sales results, financial reporting, expense reporting and customer satisfaction.
