Make an impact with our growing Consulting Resource Management team as a Sr. Coordinator. In this internal role you will partner closely with the Resource Manager, Consulting practice leaders and delivery teams to support strategies, programs and processes to optimize resource utilization and productivity, and ensure project resourcing needs are met. You’ll maintain and improve the tools and data that give visibility into skills and availability across our national Consulting team, and you’ll share regular insights and KPI reporting with practice leaders. You will also collaborate with leaders in our Ontario and Quebec regions to support strategic resource management initiatives. Building strong relationships with team members and practice leaders as a trusted advisor you will promote resource sharing across regions and influence staffing decisions. MNP is proudly Canadian. Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of work experience in resource management, project coordination or related field, ideally in a professional services firm.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French is required.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • A high degree of initiative with the ability to think proactively and problem-solve
  • Experience navigating cross-functional teams and competing priorities.
  • Understanding of professional services operations and project-based work.

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education in business or related field is preferred
  • RMCP certification is considered an asset
  • Proficiency with Power BI is considered an asset
  • Experience with Microsoft Co-pilot or other AI for analysis would be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain resource management dashboard, skills inventory and other resource management tools.
  • Ensure the accuracy of resource data in professional services automation (PSA) systems, following up with team members and practice leaders as required.
  • Prepare regular and on-demand analysis and reports on team member forecasts and utilization for distribution to regional leaders.
  • Be a key point of contact for staffing requests from managers and partners.
  • Collaborate with service line leads to identify opportunities to increase team member utilization and optimize project delivery.
  • Develop understanding of staff skillsets and aspirations to drive engagement, optimize utilization and meet client delivery needs.
  • Identify gaps in team member skills and capacity to meet planned growth and market demands.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to automate and improve resource management tools and processes.
  • Support the implementation of new tools and processes by developing communications, training materials and co-facilitating training.
  • Provide backup support to the Consulting Resource Manager as needed.
