About The Position

This senior-level analyst position is responsible for producing managed care contract performance reports to analyze payer reimbursement and payment variance on an ongoing basis. The contract analyst ensures contract payment terms are accurately modeled in the various financial systems and provides decision support for managed care contract negotiations and projects through detailed reporting and analysis.

Requirements

• College Degree - 4 year In related field or Equivalent Experience
• EPIC Certification 1 - EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing Expected Reimbursement Contracts Administration & Data Courier Badge within six (6) months of hire or transfer into position
• Minimum three (3) years Related work experience
• Broad based knowledge of hospital operations, including all aspects of the revenue cycle functions.
• Broad based knowledge of hospital information and financial systems.
• Strong conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong project management skills including the ability to adapt frequently to changing work priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to achieve results in an independent manner.
• Comfortable operating in a collaborative environment.
• Advanced proficiency in the use of personal computers and experience in the use of software used in a typical office environment (e.g. word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, etc.).
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data in an automated and efficient manner.
