About The Position

Sr Consultant, People Data Scientist - Human Resources is central to advancing People Analytics from reporting toward stronger analysis, modeling, and decision support. It combines technical depth, business acumen, and stakeholder partnership to turn people data into actionable insight. In practical terms, the role will accelerate several priority outcomes: Foundational analytics and modeling for Retirement and other priority workforce questions 2026 strategy to stabilize foundations, scale insights, and launch predictive pilots Partnership and integration of HR’s predictive and advisory capability. The preferred candidate will bring advanced analytics expertise, consulting presence, business acumen, and sound judgment in handling sensitive people data. They should be able to translate complex analysis into decision-ready insight, influence stakeholders effectively, and connect their work to measurable business outcomes. As a Sr Consultant, People Data Scientist in our Human Resources People Analytics team, you will transform data by leveraging sophisticated analytical techniques that provide deeper insights, predict future trends, prescribe actionable recommendations, and enable better decisions. Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate studies in statistics, engineering, math, data analytics, human resources, quantitative social science disciplines or related areas.
  • Typically, 10 or more years of related work experience performing statistical analytics and modeling, using quantitative and qualitative applications, techniques, and tools.
  • Experience in data visualization and reporting tools; analyzing large and complex datasets, both structured and unstructured; and working with HR systems and technologies.
  • Proven knowledge of Workday or similar HRIS systems in addition to people analytics platforms and tools used to house, report, and analyze people data.
  • Understands and demonstrated experience using machine learning, regression analysis, sampling methods and other quantitative and qualitative statistical applications, approaches, and techniques.
  • Possess consulting, influencing, facilitation, and storytelling expertise in articulating data insights.
  • Proven expertise to analyze, interpret and connect data to business outcomes that supports business goals and objectives.
  • Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced and applied knowledge to consult and advise around complex situations or business needs.
  • Demonstrated expertise of project management skills including effectively planning and managing diverse initiatives to achieve desired results.

Responsibilities

  • Leads initiatives and drives innovation and strategic solutions that optimize business decisions.
  • Helps develop and deliver the People Analytics strategy.
  • Provides expert consultation and thought leadership to HR executives, business partners, and other key stakeholders on advanced analytics and data-driven solutions for key projects and initiatives.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with HR leaders, stakeholders, and others to drive strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Develops, maintains, and ensures compliance of HR data analytical strategy, analytics models, and project portfolio.
  • Leads complex projects using advanced data science tools and methodologies, performs quantitative and qualitative research and analytics, identifies opportunities, and recommends solutions across the associate life cycle.
  • Develops and tests hypotheses around trends and key drivers of associate behavior and performance, ensuring reliability, explainability, ethics, and responsibility.
  • Presents data analytic results, reports, and data visualizations in a simple, compelling manner when communicating findings, insights, and recommendations to HR, leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Partners with team members to manage data demands and help facilitate the implementation of data pipelines to support critical analytics and visualization.
  • Aligns with other enterprise data analytics teams to refine and improve consulting, methodology, competitive analysis, and measurement best practices.
  • Integrates internal and external research, providing key trends, correlations, and insights that enable better, informed decisions.
  • Ensures data quality, accuracy, completeness, and governance across all data analysis and reporting processes, while maintaining data security, privacy, and compliance.
  • Stays current on advanced people analytics and data science methodologies, practices, and tools.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
