About The Position

Amazon's Global Engineering Services (GES) North America Design & Construction team is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to serve as Amazon's senior owner's representative in the delivery of complex built facilities and infrastructure supporting our logistics network. In this role, you will autonomously lead the full construction lifecycle — from design oversight and external partner selection through contract negotiation, construction execution, and operational handover — for complex projects including large-scale new builds, retrofits, and expansions across your assigned region. You will own project budgets, lead design management, select and manage external partners, and drive project procurement — while serving as the senior integrator between construction and the internal Amazon teams responsible for equipping, furnishing, and operating our facilities. Projects include fulfillment centers, sortation centers, delivery stations, and auxiliary buildings, ranging from targeted renovations to large-scale new facility builds. Beyond project delivery, you will contribute to developing Amazon's construction community, drive best practices across the organization, and mentor and develop other construction managers. You will present complex decisions and trade-offs to Directors and VPs, and you will be a key voice in shaping how GES NA Design & Construction delivers for Amazon's customers. This role requires 60% regional travel and availability to work from a corporate office when not traveling. Candidates should either live near or be willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of the office. Relocation assistance may be provided.
