About The Position

Since then, we have produced groundbreaking devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV and Amazon Echo. What will you help us create? The Role: As a Sr. Connectivity Systems Engineer, you will: - Define wireless architecture for consumer electronics devices - Define key performance metric and drive modeling efforts to predict end-to-end system performance - Perform gap analysis and system performance optimization across radio, PHY, MAC, firmware and software.

Requirements

  • Experience in communication theory, OFDM, MIMO, Digital/Wireless Communication Systems or RF engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 7+ Experience in Wireless Architecture or Systems
  • 7+ years of experience in Wireless/RF
  • Experience in Wi-Fi/BT/BLE/ZigBee/WAN/GPS/UWB or NFC
  • Strong knowledge in PHY/MAC
  • Experience with scripting languages and simulation tools such as Python/MatLab, and etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience in wireless architecture for consumer electronics
  • Experience with wireless (Wi-Fi/BT/BLE/ZigBee) protocols
  • Experience with Network Simulators and PHY/MAC layer modeling
  • Experience in RFIC or Custom wireless chipset development
