About The Position

This is a hybrid social-and-PR role, with approximately 70% of the work focused on brand social and 30% on earned media. The role owns all Quizlet-branded social content end-to-end, from strategy and ideation through creation, publishing, community engagement, and measurement, while also leading announcements, media relationships, and thought leadership. The position builds Quizlet’s cultural presence through human, distinctive storytelling; leads product and company announcements; coordinates social and PR around major seasonal and cultural moments; and develops media visibility and thought leadership on AI, education, and digital learning. It also owns the PR agency relationship and budget, community monitoring, rapid-response and crisis communications, performance reporting, and submissions for industry awards and speaking opportunities. The role is hybrid, based in Quizlet’s San Francisco office, with employees asked to work onsite at least two days per week, Wednesday and Thursday.
