About The Position

Under the direction of the Center of Excellence (COE) Supervisor – Projects and Support, the Sr. COE Analyst IV - DO Projects and Support is responsible for supporting the Supervisor in maximizing the internal operations performance of the Land Admin function in delivering operational excellence. The Analyst will leverage advanced knowledge and experience in Division Orders and Owner Relations to lead special projects, own SharePoint toolkits and well trackers, drive data integrity audits and reporting, gather stakeholder feedback through surveys and focus groups, and support A&D data cleansing and system setup efforts, promoting consistent processes and effective use of systems, tools, and training across the Land Administration team. Requires advanced knowledge of all aspects of land admin management principles and thorough understanding of all existing land admin processes.

Requirements

  • Proficient understanding of Office/PC skills and effective use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to make effective use of company & industry specific software
  • Advanced understanding of SAP (PRA and JVA) and Well Master
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint administration and survey/feedback tools
  • Advanced experience and knowledge of oil and gas lease forms, payout scenarios, and the escheat process
  • Advanced understanding of title, types of ownership, conveyance instruments, suspended funds, and statutory regulations/requirements as they relate to revenue and joint interest billing decks
  • Ability to interpret and calculate complex working interests, net revenue interests, unit ownerships, carried interest, and back-in ownerships
  • Advanced understanding of owner adjustments, reverse and rebook/rebill processes and when to use each
  • Advanced understanding and knowledge of the acquisition/divestiture process with a keen ability to review, cleanse, and update ownership records based on them
  • Skilled in SharePoint site administration, data audit methodology, and survey design/facilitation of focus groups to gather stakeholder feedback

Responsibilities

  • Lead special projects supporting Division Orders and Owner Relations, coordinating scope, timelines, and deliverables across stakeholders
  • Own and maintain SharePoint toolkits and well trackers, ensuring content is accurate, organized, and current for the Land Admin team
  • Lead data integrity audits and DI reporting, identifying and resolving discrepancies related to Division Orders and ownership data
  • Design and lead surveys and focus groups to gather stakeholder feedback and inform tool and process improvements
  • Lead data cleansing project management and system setups for acquisition and divestiture activity impacting Division Orders and ownership records
  • Understands the Company, Land, and Land Admin strategy and goals and how COE supports and impacts each of these organizations
  • Partners internally within the Land Admin organization to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness through the application of best practices
  • Thorough understanding of the applicable system(s) (e.g., SAP, Well Master), the data needed and how it's used by stakeholders; asks questions to prompt stakeholder understanding to make efficient and effective decisions
  • Leads change management methods to ensure new tools, processes, and systems are adopted and utilized by the Land Admin team
  • Conduct business with the highest ethical standards; demonstrate decision-making skills that ensure the safety of all persons associated with SM facilities
