The qualified candidate must be able to provide immediate guest liability claims services for the Walt Disney World Resort guests. Must exhibit outstanding customer service with an understanding of brand management.

Requirements

  • 520 or 620 All-Lines Adjusters’ License with the State of Florida in good standing
  • Proven experience and strong understanding of property and casualty insurance and claims handling
  • Demonstrate strong technical skills, including scene investigations, evaluation and negotiation skills of liability claims.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressures and handle multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with automated claims administration and management systems.
  • Demonstrate understanding of medical and legal terms
  • Computer proficiency within a Windows environment including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to deliver effective presentations to various levels of leaders, including executives
  • Proven abilities to deliver concise and informative written summaries in memo and presentation format, with appropriate business writing and usage of proper grammar.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrated strong relationship-building, negotiating, and influence abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems and make decisions
  • Demonstrate ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work in multiple computer programs and in a paperless claims environment

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 7 years and up of experience handling claims liability claims ( including Bodily Injury, Property Damage, Auto BI including PIP, Auto Property Damage, Discrimination, ADA Compliance and subrogation, etc.)
  • Bilingual ability is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Conducting onsite investigations
  • Evaluate liability case exposure
  • Resolve claims directly with guests and attorneys
  • Provide training to leaders across the Resort
  • Participate in initiatives to meet department’s goals and objectives
  • Periodic on-call responsibilities, which in some cases will necessitate responding to incidents after hours
