About The Position

Stanford University is seeking a Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their Land, Buildings & Real Estate (LBRE) department, specifically within the Water Resources and Civil Infrastructure Group. This role is responsible for the engineering, operation, and maintenance of critical campus infrastructure systems, including water distribution (potable, irrigation, recycled), storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and transportation assets like roads, bridges, and dams. The systems are comparable in scale and complexity to those of a mid-sized city, with a strong emphasis on long-term sustainability. The Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer will manage and execute engineering aspects of system reliability, capacity assurance, capital program development, and project identification, scoping, planning, and quality assurance. This includes conducting systems evaluations, modeling, field inspections, condition assessments, engineering analyses, and managing consultants and contractors. The role requires collaboration with other utility managers, land use planning colleagues, and internal teams to ensure efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and minimize campus disruption. The anticipated yearly salary range for this position is $160,845.00 to $178,000.00.
