About The Position

The Senior Category Manager – Facilities, Construction and EH&S role has responsibility for strategic category leadership and leading negotiations and purchases for the entire organization. The Senior Category Manager has the critical responsibility of leading a team, managing business needs with internal partners to identify and manage a supply base to deliver value across all SBUs.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience negotiating and coaching AIA contractual agreement execution
  • Demonstrated experience with negotiation and closure on Disaster Recovery, Construction Contractors and MEP suppliers
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain
  • 7+ years of experience in Sourcing / Procurement
  • Sourcing experience in the development and management of a global supply base is required
  • Demonstrated success includes supplier development across regions, responsibility for high-level negotiations, leading multi-functional projects
  • Strong analytics experience
  • Ability to travel 15%

Responsibilities

  • Team leadership with responsibility for contracting in the areas of Facilities, Construction, Utilities, Non-Haz & Haz Waste, Utilities, Disaster Recovery, EH&S, and Security
  • Responsible for multi-year strategy development, execution of Indirect Procurement processes and supplier relationship management
  • Develop relationships and communication strategies with internal partners to identify business needs and align supply base to achieve strategic direction
  • Responsible for building and managing strategic supplier relationships through formal Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process to improve supplier performance metrics including quality, delivery, productivity, and innovation
  • Provide leadership and oversight of the sourcing process to ensure spend is awarded to provide the maximum value
  • Lead the development and negotiation of contracts through the Contract Lifecycle Management process while maximizing value and minimizing risk
  • Partner with Regional and Global Procurement teams to ensure delivery of productivity and cost avoidance
