About The Position

The Emerging Talent & Careers team is responsible for building Medtronic’s early-career talent pipeline through university recruiting, intern and co-op hiring, and strategic partnerships with academic institutions and student organizations. This team works closely with hiring leaders, talent acquisition partners, and early-career program stakeholders to attract and hire talent that supports current and future business needs. This is a remote U.S.-based position with regular collaboration across recruiting teams, hiring managers, and external partners. The role requires up to 40% travel during peak recruiting seasons to support campus engagement, recruiting events, career fairs, and partner school activities throughout the United States. This position will report to the Engineering Intern Recruiting Team Lead. As a Senior Campus Recruiting Specialist, you will lead campus recruiting initiatives that build and strengthen early-career talent pipelines across targeted universities, student organizations, and strategic talent programs. This role partners with hiring managers, program leaders, and talent acquisition teams to execute recruiting strategies, deliver a positive candidate experience, and support hiring outcomes for internship and early-career opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in campus recruiting, university relations, early-career talent acquisition, or recruiting; or Advanced Degree and 2+ years of experience in the same areas.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% within the United States to support campus recruiting and hiring events.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, candidate engagement, interview coordination, and offer support.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with hiring managers, academic institutions, or external recruiting partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruiting strategy and execution for assigned partner schools, including relationship management, recruiting plans, and candidate pipeline development.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with university career centers, faculty, student organizations, and other campus stakeholders to support talent attraction efforts.
  • Represent Medtronic at campus recruiting events, career fairs, information sessions, and networking engagements in virtual, hybrid, and in-person environments.
  • Source, assess, and engage early-career candidates through targeted outreach, campus partnerships, events, and recruiting programs.
  • Guide candidates through the recruiting lifecycle, including interview preparation, process communication, offer coordination, and hiring activities.
  • Partner with hiring managers and talent acquisition colleagues to develop candidate slates, provide market insights, and support hiring decisions.
  • Monitor recruiting pipelines and hiring activity to ensure timely candidate movement, accurate reporting, and effective recruiter coverage across assigned schools.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics and program outcomes to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased effectiveness.
