Requirements Gathering and Translation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial reporting and analysis requirements, translating them into technical specifications and actionable development plans for assigned financial systems. Data Management and Analysis: Utilize databases and advanced query tools to gather, analyze, and validate financial data. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to inform decision-making and improve reporting accuracy. Data Science and Analytics Integration: Leverage data science techniques and advanced analytics within financial systems to design, develop, and implement financial models and forecasts. Provide actionable insights through dashboards and visualizations that support business decisions and strategic planning. Process Optimization: Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance and IT, to ensure alignment on system design, functionality, and performance. Provide Tier 3 support to end users, resolving complex issues promptly. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance and IT, to ensure alignment on system design, functionality, and performance. System Testing and Release Management: Manage vendor releases and updates by coordinating testing efforts, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless deployment to the production environment. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to proactively identify opportunities for system and process enhancements, driving long-term operational improvements.
