About The Position

The Senior Business Systems Analyst works with business partners within multiple business units to align technology solutions with business strategies. This role provides advanced technical and consultative support to other team members, maintains in-depth knowledge of applications, and stays current in technical enhancements, methodologies, and trends related to assigned applications. The analyst analyzes existing systems or procedures and identifies technical or procedural improvements that will provide operational efficiencies, reduce potential risk to Huntington Bank, and improve end-user experiences.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience.
4-8+ years of related experience working as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
1+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow.

Experience facilitating groups sessions to gather requirements with ability to ask relevant questions to drill into the details
Experience tracking and driving deliverables to completion
Problem-solver mindset; ability to work through grey areas independently with minimal supervision
Proficiency with Microsoft (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Responsibilities

Builds relationships with business partners who leverage ServiceNow to understand their needs, advocate on their behalf, maintain platform designed standards and governance, and communicate effectively between business and technical users.
Develops an in-depth understanding of complex business processes and functional behaviors of assigned applications, potential design and integration of technical solutions, including upstream and downstream dependencies and impacts.
Works with key stakeholders to capture business and user requirements as well as establish and strengthen the relationship between teams.
Owns the relationship with stakeholders to identify, model, and document business processes and data requirements.
Partners with Scrum and Production Support teams to ensure all documented requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification.
Facilitates scope, discovery, and design sessions, and communicates with business partners on story status and follow-up.
Aligns IT resources and processes to meet the client organization’s needs, as well as the design of enterprise solutions.
Builds roadmaps with business partners and executes stories within sprint timelines.
Performs other duties as assigned.
