About The Position

As a Senior Business Data Analyst at DHL Supply Chain, you will support warehouse operations by transforming data into actionable insights that improve performance and efficiency. You will collaborate with site leadership and key stakeholders to build dashboards, implement standard tools, and support data-driven decision-making. The role also offers opportunities to lead projects across multiple sites, support site startups, and serve as a point of contact for analytics community initiatives. You will develop Power BI reports and data models, analyze data using SQL, DAX, and statistical techniques, and design data pipelines. You will also help functional teams with customized analytical solutions, promote data literacy, and apply analytics tools to improve reporting and automation. The position may be based at a warehouse and requires fully onsite work when located there.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or four years of equivalent professional experience.
At least 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
Extensive experience using SQL or other scripting languages, such as Python or R, to query, clean, and transform data.
Proficiency in Power BI, including building dashboards and reports from scratch.
Proficiency in writing DAX expressions to automate and enhance Power BI reports.
Experience designing and managing data pipelines and working with diverse data sources.
Strong understanding of statistical concepts, data modeling techniques, and modern analytics trends.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead cross-functional projects.
Must be able to work fully onsite if the role is based out of a warehouse.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Power BI reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
Develop Power BI visualizations and back-end data models.
Clean, model, and analyze data using SQL, DAX, and statistical techniques to uncover trends and drive improvements.
Implement and maintain standard reporting tools for a site or sector.
Assist functional teams, including HR and Finance, with customized analytical solutions for evolving business needs.
Serve as a point of contact for Power BI questions and analytics community initiatives.
Lead knowledge-sharing sessions to promote data literacy and tool adoption.
Manage analytics projects independently and across multiple sites.
Design and implement ETL data pipelines from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources.
Use Python, R, or other analytics tools to enhance reporting and automation.
Stay current with data analytics trends and apply best practices to improve processes.
Support site startups by implementing analytics tools and reporting frameworks.
