About The Position

The purpose of this role is to be the chief facilitator of solution systems delivery that drive efficiency and standardization within our Finance organization on a global scale. The initial phase entails assessing the as-is business landscape, understanding the regional and global business plans, and identifying opportunities for simplification and automation. The incumbent will work with the enterprise and functional teams to identify the areas of greatest impact and determine the solution(s) to execute. Additionally, at a macro-level the role is responsible for delivery of these technologies in a “ready for use” package to the business. The candidate will possess both a sufficient-level of knowledge of Finance functional processes along with an equal-level technical understanding of general ERP systems and the potential auxiliary ecosystem (ERP+ tools). In addition to this knowledge and understanding, the role needs to be an effective communicator of requirements and expectations between the IT technical teams and the Finance business staff performing the work.

Requirements

  • College degree in the field of business administration, accounting/finance, and/or management information systems and 7 to 10 years related work experience in similar role
  • 5+ years proven experience in leading the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products
  • Working history of change management and process improvement
  • Experience in integrating new acquisitions into current solutions
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to communicate and translate requirements effectively between business areas and the IT organization
  • Extensive problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Can assemble new processes through emerging modeling tools and software components

Responsibilities

  • Meet with decision-makers, systems owners, and end-users to define requirements and solution goals, and identify technologies to resolve business issues
  • Introduce alternate ideas and methodologies to current business processes
  • Map business functional requirements to system/technical requirements
  • Lead design sessions in prototyping new solutions
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing solutions and develop strategies for improving
  • Prepare reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and weak processes in application systems across the organization
  • Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications
  • Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed solutions
  • Ensure compatibility and interoperability of existing systems and new proposed tools/applications
  • Identify and establish scope and parameters of solutions to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions
  • Conduct technology solution research to satisfy user requirements and justify recommendations.
  • Keep industry current in new technologies that may streamline current processes
  • Utilize best practices and out-of-box functionality to solutions and integrated applications to reduce costs and improve overall adoption.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with existing or concurrent projects
  • Ensure alignment and support of all critical solutions relative to security and data privacy policies and standards inclusive of accessibility, vulnerability and website inventory management
