Our challenge Sr Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in modern UI and API automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will lead automation initiatives, design scalable frameworks, and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support high-quality software delivery. Additional Information The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $90k - $92k/year & benefits (see below).

Requirements

  • 4+ years of automation experience
  • Strong expertise in: Playwright with TypeScript Selenium with Java TestNG & Cucumber (BDD) API Automation (RestAssured) CI/CD integration experience.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.

  • Experience building frameworks from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript) and Selenium (Java).
  • Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber with TestNG.
  • Develop and maintain API automation using RestAssured or similar tools.
  • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Optimize test execution using HyperExecute or similar cloud/grid platforms.
  • Ensure cross-browser, parallel, and stable test execution.
  • Mentor team members and drive automation best practices.
  • Leverage GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted coding tools to enhance productivity.
