The Senior Associate, Territory Sales – Healthcare associate is responsible for driving SC Johnson Professional’s growth across major healthcare organizations within the Ottawa–Windsor corridor. This role leads the development and execution of strategic account plans, builds executive‑level relationships, and expands the company’s presence within large, multi‑site health systems. As a trusted partner to healthcare customers, you will identify and convert new opportunities, negotiate enterprise agreements, and drive long‑term account growth. Success requires a strong balance of new business development and relationship management, translating customer needs into value‑driven solutions that support safer, healthier care environments. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will align SC Johnson Professional’s portfolio with customer priorities, influence senior decision‑makers, and contribute to the company’s healthcare go‑to‑market strategy. Reporting to the Sales Director (Canada), this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a purpose‑driven, growing business. This is a remote Sales role located in the Greater Toronto Area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of sales experience within the Janitorial & Sanitation (JanSan) industry
  • Business to Business (B2B) sales through distributor and channel partners
  • 2+ years of focused experience in the Healthcare segment
  • 40 hours per week with majority of the time visiting customers/distributors
  • Up to 50% overnight travel

  • Ensure comprehensive and ongoing training on the SC Johnson Professional (SCJP) product portfolio.
  • Support the development of distributor business plans and incentive programs.
  • Manage sales of products through an analysis and focus on: Distributor performance, Distributor branch performance, Sales lead generation and pipeline activity, Production of specific account plans for each account managed covering as a minimum sales, marketing, training and product activity.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of SCJP’s Sales Management Best Practices so all are operating at their highest performance level against selling targeted end users.
  • Partner with Marketing to create winning sales and marketing programs and developing sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Organize and where appropriate attend trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Manage budget and create profitable healthcare acquisitions.
  • Provide deep insight into competitive activity, market dynamics and external information to guide the company’s decision-making process.
  • Sales Forecasting, including monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts.
  • Attend meetings where necessary to report on sales performance including competitor data where appropriate.
  • Administer all management report requests and/or any additional information as specified by the Sales Director.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships and communications with Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Services, and Sales Administration, thus ensuring that all available information is fully understood and effectively communicated to customers and sales management.
  • Handle customer complaints or requests promptly in accordance with company policy and advise management of any situations beyond his/her scope of authority, to ensure lasting goodwill between the customers and SCJP.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and territory records through the CRM system.
  • Comply with all company policies, health and safety requirements, instructions and directives for the fulfilment of SCJP's objectives and for maximum profitable sales.
