The Sr. Configuration Management Associate will be responsible for providing configuration and data management support to their assigned program(s). This role involves planning, managing, and reporting on documentation to meet customer requirements, reviewing drawings and documentation, and interfacing with various departments such as Program Management, Engineering, Contracts, Subcontracts, Quality, and others. The associate will ensure adherence to established configuration and data management processes, review and approve/reject formal program documentation, and coordinate with contracts, security, and customers on requirements. They will act as a primary point of contact for program technical data, ensuring content creators follow procedures for data identification, marking, review, and release, while proactively identifying and correcting data errors. The role also includes implementing data control methodologies, ensuring proper standards for quality, managing data items and SDRL/CDRL schedules, enforcing Intellectual Property protection, providing guidance on Engineering Methods, creating Configuration Status Accounting reports, performing audits (including FCAs/PCAs), and facilitating Configuration Control Boards. Familiarity with data marking, formatting, and handling is essential, as is the ability to multi-task, prioritize, communicate effectively, and be detail-oriented.
