Configuration Management Analyst
About The Position
SAIC is seeking a detail-oriented Configuration Management Analyst to join our team in Middletown, RI! As a CM Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing and tracking documentation, data, and software for our technical products, services, and processes. As well as, ensuring such components are properly stored and controlled throughout their lifecycle. The Program you would be supporting requires recurring and consistent Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliveries, which you will play an integral part in. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts, to gather information, ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation, and timely delivery to the government customer.
Requirements
- Familiarity with SharePoint platform is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of configuration management processes and procedures.
- Utilize configuration management tools and systems to track and control configuration items throughout the development lifecycle.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation of the status and history of configuration items. Including tracking changes, updates, and releases, and ensuring that the internal configuration management database is up to date.
- Assist in monitoring and auditing configuration changes to ensure compliance with established processes and procedures.
- Provide support to development teams on configuration management-related tasks and inquiries.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of configuration management practices.
