About The Position

Trace3 is seeking a senior observability leader to serve as technical lead for our Dynatrace practice. This individual will guide delivery quality across the practice, mentor recently certified consultants, and lead customer-facing observability strategy engagements. The role is positioned to grow into leadership of the broader Observability Services group.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of recent, hands-on Dynatrace experience in production enterprise environments.
  • Current working knowledge of the Dynatrace SaaS (3rd generation) platform, including Grail, Dynatrace Query Language (DQL), OpenPipeline, Workflows, AppEngine, Notebooks, and Davis AI.
  • Experience guiding customers through migration from Dynatrace Managed capabilities to the current SaaS platform.
  • Proven ability to set technical standards, review delivery work, and develop junior consultants into independent practitioners.
  • 10+ years of experience across the observability landscape, spanning APM, infrastructure monitoring, log analytics, digital experience monitoring, and AIOps, with exposure to multiple vendor platforms and open standards such as OpenTelemetry.
  • Demonstrated success delivering strategy engagements, including observability maturity assessments, current state analysis, target state roadmaps, and vendor-neutral product selection.
  • Track record of producing executive-quality deliverables such as assessment reports, architecture recommendations, and strategic roadmaps.
  • Comfort presenting findings and recommendations to senior technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience leading or mentoring delivery teams in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Ability to shape practice direction, including service offerings, delivery methodology, and team capability development.
  • Strong client presence, sound judgment, and the credibility to serve as a trusted advisor to customer leadership.

  • Dynatrace Professional certification is preferred but not required.
