About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Total Rewards supports the design, analysis, implementation, and optimization of comprehensive total rewards programs. This hands-on role leverages strong analytical skills and benefits and compensation expertise to deliver data-driven insights, support regulatory compliance, and improve program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4–7 years of progressive experience in total rewards.
  • Deep working knowledge of benefit plans, fiduciary governance, ERISA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, and related regulations.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, practical understanding of AI tools, and experience with HRIS platforms; Workday preferred.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for diverse audiences.

  • Experience with job evaluation and analysis, compensation survey interpretation, and market pricing.
  • Professional certifications, such as SHRM, CEBS, WorldatWork CCP/CBP, or retirement plan credentials.
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement, technology-enabled solutions, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, retirement, and leave programs, to evaluate competitiveness, cost effectiveness, utilization trends, and employee impact.
  • Prepare actionable reports, dashboards, analytical models, and supporting documentation for leadership and employee communications.
  • Support strategy and governance for the company’s 401(k), pension, and health and welfare plans, including coordination with recordkeepers, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support retirement and health and welfare plan fiduciary responsibilities, including investment and plan reviews, audit-ready documentation, and committee meeting materials.
  • Manage vendor coordination across total rewards programs, including benefits carriers, leave administrators, retirement recordkeepers, brokers, and consultants; oversee performance, contracts, SLAs, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with external vendors and consultants on plan design, RFPs and ongoing performance management.
  • Oversee compliance activities for benefits, retirement, and leave programs, including Form 5500 preparation, audits, disclosures, and ERISA, IRS, and DOL requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for employee benefits, including retirement, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, wellness, and leave programs.
  • Support annual total rewards cycles, including merit reviews, incentive planning, open enrollment, post-cycle analysis, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze market data to assess competitiveness and recommend adjustments to pay structures and benefit design.
  • Support pay equity reviews, structure modeling efforts, audits, regulatory reporting, and documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR Business Partners, HR Shared Services, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and Communications to support organizational initiatives, open enrollment, merit and incentive compensation cycles, and benefits education.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline administration, enhance HRIS data accuracy, and strengthen employee communications and tools.
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive employee and financial data.
