About The Position

The Sr. Analyst, Strategic Planning will have the opportunity to work on a variety of strategic and high visibility projects that help shape strategy for Comcast's Connectivity and Platforms (C&P) business. The scope of this role includes identifying new growth opportunities, answering key strategic questions, and supporting or driving high impact special or operational projects. Day-to-day, they will provide project management over their projects and use analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to conduct in-depth analyses and make recommendations.   • While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in high-priority strategic initiatives, and contribute to development of overall C&P strategy
  • Develop strategic analyses to assess new growth and investment opportunities
  • Identify business, financial and operational implications - evaluate business models and economics of specific products/services, companies, and sectors
  • Provide business insights based on rigorous, fact-based analyses of customer needs, competitive dynamics, and industry trends
  • Evaluate new or existing projects for financial returns – IRR / ROI / ROIC
  • Work with our Business Units to support new growth areas for further expansion
  • Synthesize research into executive level presentations and deliver readouts to senior audiences
  • Contribute to business development and partnership discussions, including distribution, tech/product content, and monetization deals
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
