The Senior Analyst, Revenue Analytics is responsible for conducting complex patient revenue analyses, executing rate calculations, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. This role transforms clinical and financial data into actionable insights, supports contract and reimbursement-related analysis, and partners cross‑functionally to identify revenue optimization opportunities.   • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College or University in Accounting or Finance or Data Science required.
  • 4 years of experience related to healthcare revenue (multi-site multi-payer) required.
  • Experience related to large, complicated data set analysis required.

  • Accounting, Finance or RCM knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performs complex patient revenue analyses using billing data warehouse and accounting system data, translating results into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Conducts monthly and quarterly variance analysis across patient revenue components, identifying trends, drivers, and issues requiring research.
  • Conducts variance analyses on actuals vs. forecast/budget, highlighting drivers and recommending corrective actions.
  • Executes patient revenue rate calculations to support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, including variance bridges.
  • Performs rate calculations for New & Existing Business and Subsidy Reconciliation, executing established methodologies and preparing calculations to support contract negotiations, renewals, and financial processes.
  • Evaluates contract terms, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory changes to assess financial implications on clinical revenue.
  • Transforms complex clinical and financial data into actionable insights through reporting and KPIs.
  • Maintains templates for financial models to support strategic initiatives such as new program development, service line launches, pricing strategies, and other revenue‑related analyses.
  • Prepares reporting packages and insights for Clinical Finance, Operations, and Revenue Cycle partners.
  • Assists in the annual budgeting cycle and quarterly forecasting processes for patient revenue and rate components.
  • Collaborates with Clinical Finance, Operations, and Revenue Cycle teams to identify revenue leakage, quantify impacts, and recommend mitigation strategies.
