About The Position

Responsible for a broad range of Parts Pricing, Systems, Analytics, and Planning activities to support efficient department operations and sound business decisions. Provides analytical and systems support, including SAS and SAP-related activities, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of parts department data. Develops and maintains reporting, databases, and analytical tools used to evaluate parts sales, costs, pricing, profitability, and business performance. Works closely with management and cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, identify opportunities, resolve issues, develop system and process improvements and help in the testing of such system changes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Computer Science or other quantitative field. Business, Economics or equivalent directly related work experience
2-3 years SAS, SQL, or other query programming language experience and/or database management.
Minimum 3 years of pricing, purchasing, or finance experience
Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and statistical skills
SAP ERP system experience

Nice To Haves

SAS Certified Professional is a plus
Parts mechanical fit and function knowledge a plus
Basic accounting and information systems knowledge
Must be familiar with basic pricing concepts, knowledge of profit margins and markups and their effect on pricing structure, and laws concerning price fixing, dumping, etc.
AI prompts and application understanding are preferred
SAS programming skills preferred

Responsibilities

Evaluates, coordinates, and implements general cost, distributor, and dealer pricing for all domestic and internationally sourced parts.
Provides development, enhancement, and troubleshooting support to both Parts systems and sub-systems users and Isuzu MIS.
Recommends corrective actions to responsible departments.
Develop SAS tools to increase productivity of the department.
Helps maintain the Parts Department SAS databases used for reporting and recording historical Parts related information on a daily basis.
Reviews and confirms data, and develops reports & solutions to complex business problems.
Develops and provides direct data extraction, processing, and ad hoc reports.
Provide on-demand support to Parts management utilizing resource tools such as SAP, SAS, BW, etc.
Conducts competitive market price research and analysis.
Makes recommendations to management for specific parts prices, profit margins, parts pricing structures, and competitive positioning
Tracks, develops and implements cost and distributor/dealer pricing utilizing the SAP Master Data Governance provisioning process.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
