About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a successful candidate to be tasked with Supply Chain Planning responsibilities in McKinney, TX. This role will participate in resource and factory material planning, work closely with the factory and operations teams, maintaining MRP health and drive the expected level of performance to support contractual obligations. In this position, the ownership & use of metrics will be key, with the potential of supporting material inventory audits and movement of material to the factory.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • SAP experience
  • Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related manufacturing engineering ideally in a government contractor environment similar to RTX.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP, Kinaxis, CMES or similar software
  • Motivated and takes on challenges with the ability to see when something needs to be done and react accordingly
  • Experienced and effective communicator (presentation skills, written and verbal communication)
  • Ability to apply critical thinking techniques, using logic and reasoning to identify approaches to problems, and the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Ability to understand systems and processes
  • Ability to apply Raytheon Core concepts to improve departmental, factory related, and cross-departmental processes

Responsibilities

  • Material Stock Availability; creating the line of balance between customer demands, product inventory, and production levels
  • Preparing production requisitions based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements
  • Working with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build
  • Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements
  • Providing status on material availability, and potential supply problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed
  • Working daily to confirm material supply and demands
  • Coordinating cross-functional interdepartmental activity as needed (i.e. with Quality Assurance, Factory Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, Logistics)
  • Taking corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary.
  • PRISM functions, assessing supply resources
  • Aggregate and prioritize demand profile requirements
  • Plan inventory
  • Coordinate material for all products and all activities impacting hardware build
  • CMES & shop floor coordination.
