About The Position

The Merchandising Data Services Department has an opening for a Sr Analyst EDI/Supplier Support. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that’s constantly evolving. The position can be based in our Pleasanton, CA office OR Boise, ID location. We currently require employees to work onsite Monday through Thursday to support collaboration and engagement. Requirements

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent job experience.
  • 3 years’ experience in retail or manufacturing industry, business processes and systems
  • Knowledge of GS1, X12, VICS and UCS standards & secure data communication protocols preferred
  • Superior problem solving and analytical skills required
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills and ability to pivot focus quickly
  • Ability to facilitate change within and outside the organization
  • Knowledge of business transactions supported by EDI and XML in the order to pay cycle.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers at all levels of experience, business and technical
  • Ability to understand business issues across a broad range of technical solutions in the industry
  • Must be service oriented and interact with patience and a supportive approach
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be self-motivated with a high degree of initiative.
  • Ability to handle challenges and adapt to change.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of GS1, X12, VICS and UCS standards & secure data communication protocols preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic initiatives and implement new system and data processes
  • Establish and manage electronic data partnerships
  • On board new vendors to the organization and communicate requirements and best practices
  • Coordinate Supplier acquisitions consolidations and ensure accuracy of detailed information s
  • Analyze industry standards and make recommendations to increase value
  • Provide requirements and collaborate with Product and Technology to improve system functionality
  • Support suppliers and internal clients on Partner Portal Application
  • Implement new business transactions and business processes and provide problem solving to external partners
  • Independently perform root cause analysis and develop comprehensive solutions to system and procedure issues
  • Provide support to internal customers throughout the organization
  • Perform analysis and provide periodic reports on progress and opportunities
  • Champion change and solicit feedback to improve procedures and system functionality
