About The Position

This position will be working onsite from Miami. This is a hands-on senior editor role responsible for driving the editorial quality and delivery of social video across long-form YouTube and short-form platforms. The Senior Video Editor translates creative briefs into finished, platform-native, on-brand work and solves complex creative challenges in post-production and on set. Beyond technical execution, this role brings a clear creative point of view aligned with the brand voice.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of professional experience as a video editor at an agency, in-house at a company, or working directly for a YouTuber or content creator, with a strong portfolio demonstrating quality and range.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience editing both short-form vertical content and long-form YouTube content.
  • Comfort working across mobile and desktop editing tools.
  • Strong editorial instincts, including the ability to shape compelling narratives through pacing, music, and visual rhythm.
  • Strong creative instincts and the judgment to align technically excellent editing with brand voice and vision, bringing a clear point of view rather than only executing direction.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to shift between formats without sacrificing quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivation, ability to work independently, and judgment to mentor less experienced editors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Film or Video Production, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally on a quarterly basis for shoots.

Nice To Haves

  • After Effects or motion graphics experience is strongly preferred.
  • Camera operation and video capture skills are preferred but not required.
  • Comfort with appearing on camera is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with the cruise, hospitality, or broader travel industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the editorial quality and consistency of social video content across long-form YouTube and short-form vertical formats through high-quality, hands-on editing.
  • Translate creative briefs into finished, platform-native, on-brand work, incorporating supporting graphic design elements such as carousels, banners, and end cards as needed.
  • Provide input on editing standards and best practices used by the team without owning the process.
  • Solve complex creative and technical challenges hands-on, both in post-production and on set or in production.
  • Use AI generation tools to concept, generate, and refine visual content as part of the editing and production workflow.
  • Bring strong creative judgment and brand-aligned craft to individual output, raising the bar through the quality of the work.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all video and graphic output according to established style guides.
  • Organize and manage raw and finished assets within the team’s digital asset library using proper naming and tagging conventions.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, producers, editors, and Social Media and Marketing leadership to turn briefs into finished deliverables across formats.
  • Travel approximately once per quarter to support onboard or location shoots and content productions.
  • Stay current on platform-specific trends across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and proactively recommend format and style opportunities.
  • Manage multiple concurrent deliverables across different formats and turnaround times.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
