About The Position

The Senior Accountant will partner closely with the Controller and oversee key accounting functions. This includes general ledger, month-end close, inventory, costing, and financial reporting. The role also supports process improvement and manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Experience should include month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Manufacturing accounting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, internal controls, and financial reporting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, including general ledger management, reconciliations, reporting, and day-to-day accounting functions
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Nice To Haves

• Experience with inventory, job costing, or WIP accounting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide daily guidance and review support to junior accounting staff
• Able to lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities. This includes journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet roll-forwards, and financial statements
• Manage standard costing, job costing, WIP accounting, and cycle counts
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready records. Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOPs
• Support ERP implementation and data cleanup. Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and standardize accounting processes across locations
• Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, fixed assets, and operational KPI reporting. Provide financial analysis and support to executive leadership
