About The Position

This role involves leading end-to-end accounting processes and serving as the primary liaison between corporate headquarters and field accountants for a portfolio of sites. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional groups for budget and forecast development, performing variance analyses and financial data reviews, and executing key internal controls. The role also involves preparing and reviewing journal entries, managing special projects, and supporting audits with external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience required.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
• Ability to perform variance analyses and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Accounting preferred.
• CPA certification or CPA track preferred.
• Experience with Oracle preferred.
• Big 4 or Tier 2 audit experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a high-volume and changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead various accounting processes from initiation to completion for assigned areas.
• Serve as the main point of contact between corporate headquarters and field accountants for multiple sites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze and format large amounts of financial data to perform variance analyses and problem-solving.
• Conduct thorough reviews and reconciliations of monthly balance sheet accounts.
• Execute key internal controls and support external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and manage special projects including technical accounting research and integration of newly acquired facilities.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
