Sr. Accountant

Ashby
Remote

About The Position

Ashby is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and the month-end close process. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and thrives in a dynamic environment focused on long-term impact and timely execution. As Ashby prepares for its first financial audit and continues to scale, this role offers strong growth potential. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in audit readiness, process improvement, and helping the team tighten close and reporting timelines. This role requires someone who embraces change and brings a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to evolving accounting practices. This is a remote role best suited for self-starters who excel in an independent setting. The company is a rapidly growing team and company, and the ability to stay flexible and thrive amid change is key to success. Every day involves new challenges and this role will need to adapt to learning new skills. The team is small and coverage matters; the candidate may be asked to support Billing or other functions when teammates are out, and flexibility is essential. This role is best-suited for someone who understands the day-to-day operations and challenges of working inside a growing company.
