About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
  • Technically sound in US GAAP, a must.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel. Comfortable extracting data and creating reports using pivot tables, v-lookups and sum-if formulas, etc.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to be able to summarize and present data to company leaders.
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills.
  • Works with integrity and honesty.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliations for areas including, but not limited to: Sales Accruals and Allowances, Fixed Assets, Prepaid Expenses, Intangible Assets, Intercompany Accounts, Debt
  • Reconcile inventory units for sales, cogs/inventory and activity across multiple warehouses (including 3PLs), and investigating any inventory unit variances to resolution
  • Work with business unit in Hong Kong to track and record unrecorded sales at month-end
  • Maintain customer records and agreements supporting sales allowances
  • Work with AR team for credit memo mapping related to sales allowances taken by customers
  • Work with Finance team to track and validate sales allowance data
  • Track and record monthly debt activity, including borrowings/repayments, interest, debt issuance costs, etc.
  • Prepare monthly sales tax data and journal entries to record tax liability and tax payments.
  • Support and partner on continuous process and procedural improvements, including documentation of improvements.
  • Participate in year-end audit, bank audits and prepare sales allowance related schedules.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Account Managers and Sales teams.
  • Provide ad hoc reports as requested by senior management, including summarization and presenting relevant data
