About The Position

As a Senior Account Manager, you'll own the strategy and execution of some of our most complex and highest-value campaigns, from standard media to first-of-their-kind custom programs like study challenges, sweepstakes, and app takeovers. You'll be the day-to-day lead for your clients and agencies, partnering closely with our Account Executives, Ad Operations, Marketing, and Product to launch on time, deliver in full, and turn results into the next campaign. The ideal candidate is a calm, organized problem solver who takes ownership of their accounts, is comfortable in front of clients, and enjoys making complicated things run smoothly.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in digital media account management or campaign management, ideally at a premium publisher, ad agency, or ad tech company.
  • Experience owning complex, high-value campaigns end to end, ideally including custom or sponsorship programs, not only standard display and video.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager or a similar ad server, Salesforce, and third-party ad serving and measurement (CM360/DCM, brand lift, verification).
  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable pulling and reconciling data in spreadsheets and turning it into a clear recommendation.
  • Confident, polished client communication, written and verbal, including handling tough conversations about delivery or performance.
  • Familiarity with direct-sold and programmatic guaranteed (PG) deal structures.
  • Excellent organization and follow-through across many moving parts and tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, ownership mindset: you see the problem before the client does and come with a fix.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience running sweepstakes, contests, or promotions for brand partners.
  • Experience working with large holding-company agencies (e.g., Omnicom, WPP, Publicis) on reporting and billing.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to speed up reporting or analysis.
  • Experience advertising to Gen Z, students, or other youth audiences, including the brand safety and policy considerations that come with it.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end execution for a portfolio of key accounts, from kickoff through wrap, with full accountability for on-time launches, pacing, performance against client KPIs, and full delivery. Clients and agencies should know they’ll hear from you quickly, especially when something goes wrong.
  • Lead first-to-market custom programs (e.g., study challenges, sweepstakes, sponsored emails and on-site modals, app takeovers), coordinating Marketing, Design, Product, and Legal, and building repeatable processes that make the next one faster.
  • Partner with Ad Operations to traffic and launch campaigns, monitor pacing, reconcile first- and third-party data (GAM vs. CM360 and measurement partners), troubleshoot live issues, and keep delivery on track.
  • Manage third-party measurement and reporting requirements, including brand lift studies, measurement vendor tags, and agency reporting templates.
  • Analyze campaign performance and turn it into clear midpoint and wrap-up stories that highlight results, explain what drove them, and recommend what the client should do next.
  • Feed campaign insights back to Sales and Sales Enablement to inform proposals, media plans, and renewal and upsell opportunities.
  • Partner with Finance on monthly revenue recognition and billing, including reconciling delivery and resolving billing discrepancies with agencies.
  • Keep Account Executives informed of key issues, risks, and opportunities throughout the campaign, and flag delivery risks early with a proposed solution.
  • Bring curiosity and initiative to how the team works. We’re using AI tools more every quarter, and we want someone who will test new ones, adapt quickly, and share what works.
