About The Position

As a Sr. Account Manager, you will support the Sales Manager or Sr. Sales Manager by proactively developing new business and penetration strategies with new and existing customers. You will also assist the Sales Director in account development. This includes the preparation of written quotes, answering quotes related questions, present quotes to customers, aggressively increasing sales in existing accounts, preparing quarterly reviews, as well as provide sales projections. You will coordinate technical support to develop specific account strategies with direct factory interface. The Sr. Account Manager will follow up on day-to-day issues such as customer requests on new project equipment status; factory readiness and material pipeline preparation, factory production issues; WIP status, drawing requests, monitoring cycle times or basic engineering information. In this role, the Sr. Account Manager will act as a interface to ensure factory provides up to date information back to the customer. This position requires you to be very motivated, sensitive to the turnaround time and have good problem solving and organizational skills. You need to have the ability to work in a team environment and have a general understanding of the manufacturing process for the products you are covering. You must project a professional image.

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree and/or 4-6 years of sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of contract manufacturing business environment and its supply chain practice.
  • Ability to manage key accounts.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must enjoy working with people.
  • Able to make sales presentations and proposals.
  • Good organizational and computer skills.
  • Ability to summarize weekly activity in report format.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a must.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Must be flexible.
  • Proven team player record.
  • Quick learner.
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Ability to make decisions.
