About The Position

The Sr. Account Manager will be responsible for promoting Salvagenix products to healthcare professionals through remote engagement channels, including phone calls, video meetings, approved email, and digital presentations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will build and maintain strong customer relationships, communicate product value clearly and compliantly, support sales objectives, and provide market insights that help inform commercial strategy. The Sr. Account Manager will serve as a trusted virtual point of contact for targeted healthcare providers while operating with a high level of professionalism, regulatory awareness, and customer focus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, healthcare, inside sales, or customer engagement roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage customers effectively through virtual channels.
  • Strong understanding of compliant pharmaceutical promotion, customer relationship management, and sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, listening, and objection-handling skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with virtual detailing platforms, and digital engagement tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Veeva, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with specialty pharmaceuticals, rare disease, or hospital-based healthcare provider engagement.
  • Ability to analyze territory data, prioritize accounts, and adapt messaging to customer needs.
  • Comfortable learning scientific information and translating approved product content into clear customer conversations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual sales calls, product discussions, and educational presentations with targeted institutions and healthcare professionals.
  • Use approved communication channels, including video conferencing, phone, email, and virtual meeting tools, to deliver compliant and effective customer engagement.
  • Build productive relationships with pharmacists, physicians, nurses, pharmacy procurement, and other appropriate healthcare stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute virtual territory plans aligned with commercial objectives and customer needs.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals, activity targets, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate call notes, customer profiles, follow-up activities, and opportunity tracking.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Salvagenix products, approved indications, clinical information, competitive landscape, and relevant market trends.
  • Present approved product information clearly, accurately, and in accordance with company guidance.
  • Respond to customer questions appropriately and route medical, safety, or off-label inquiries through approved internal processes.
  • Conduct all sales activities in accordance with applicable pharmaceutical laws, regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Use only approved promotional materials and ensure all customer communications remain accurate, balanced, and compliant.
  • Report adverse events, product quality complaints, and compliance concerns promptly through designated company channels.
  • Complete required training and maintain readiness for audits, monitoring, and field-based or virtual coaching reviews.
  • Capture customer feedback, market observations, access barriers, and competitive insights to support commercial planning.
  • Contribute to commercial strategy by identifying growth opportunities, account priorities, market trends, and customer needs that can inform business planning.
  • Support the development of promotional tactics, including customer messaging approaches, digital engagement ideas, and field-ready resources, in partnership with leadership.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings, training sessions, and business planning discussions.
  • Provide timely updates to Company leadership on activity, performance, customer trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Communicate professionally and consistently with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Represent Salvagenix with integrity in all virtual customer interactions and industry-related engagements.
