About The Position

AWS WWPS Govtech sales team is hiring a Senior Account Manager to lead transformative deals and redefine how GovTechs innovate with cloud and Agentic AI. Bring your passion for building businesses, your operational excellence, and deep industry insights to help our customers accelerate their digital transformations at scale. As a Senior Account Manager, you will manage and grow Mid-Market GovTech accounts in the US. You will own the go-to-market strategy and execution for strategic accounts, drive revenue growth, and set the vision for how AWS partners with our customers to reshape the industry.

Requirements

  • Experience managing and growing large accounts, product marketing or management consulting roles
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives, demonstrating a strong familiarity with decision-making processes in enterprise customers
  • Deep understanding of cloud, infrastructure, data, analytics, and AI/ML with ability to translate technology into strategic business outcomes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
  • Experience personally closing large complex deals end-to-end
  • Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage
  • 10+ years of sales experience

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusted senior relationships with assigned GovTech accounts. Foster partnerships anchored on customer obsession, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Business Development, Solutions Architecture, Partner Organization, Marketing, Customer Success) to solve customers' most complex business and technical challenges.
  • Use data and metrics to manage pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and sales productivity.
  • Identify transformational opportunities, de-risk execution, and replicate success through scalable plays and mechanisms.
  • Accelerate customer adoption & develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
