About The Position

Valley Forge Insurance Brokerage (VFIB) is a nationwide wholesaler and a division of Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY). VFIB specializes in writing the coverages that PHLY does not offer. This includes Workers’ Compensation, Inland Marine, Wind & Hail Deductible Buy-down and other specialty coverages. As a Senior Account Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining and growing our business by supporting our team members, agents, and carriers while ensuring accurate policy processing and delivering exceptional service.

Requirements

High school diploma (or equivalent) required
Property & Casualty license required
Minimum 2-3 years Property & Casualty insurance industry experience
Familiarity with wholesale or retail operations and working with both agents and carriers

Nice To Haves

a college degree is preferred
Workers’ Compensation experience preferred
Sales experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain strong connections with agents and carriers to facilitate new and renewal business.
Evaluate documents for accuracy and compliance, discussing any changes in exposure, competition, pricing, or coverage concerns.
Use product knowledge to expand current accounts and introduce new business opportunities.
Process endorsements, audits, and renewals, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
Answer coverage-related questions within your delegated authority.
Maintain accurate records of policy transactions and correspondence within our agency management systems (AIM and ImageRight).
