About The Position

The role of an SQA is to improve quality that aligns with the site’s PPM and Demerit targets. The main missions of the role are to establish incoming quality requirements to ensure correct parts are received and verified for product quality prior to their issuance into manufacturing, review product inspection history to make future inspection decisions, organize goods incoming inspection when required, review parts that have been rejected by the production floor to determine root cause so that parts can be pre-dispositioned, drive supplier quality improvement, initiate and validate corrective and preventive actions with the suppliers for immediate containment actions (Request of RMA for dispositioned), manage supplier progress plans in co-operation with the plant buyers, and approve Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) only after accepted by the Program Quality Engineer and the plant quality department.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree is required
  • Related experience is preferred
  • Manufacturing/industrial experience preferred
  • Basic Quality Techniques understood
  • Results oriented with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Quality Concepts

Responsibilities
