The SQA Engineer II plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of software products. This role is responsible for designing and executing testing strategies, building scalable automated frameworks, and partnering closely with development and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This individual will contribute to a collaborative, Agile environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
  • Experience working with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, or C#)
  • Experience with database testing (SQL, Oracle, or MySQL)
  • Familiarity with performance and load testing tools

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with gaming or regulated software environments is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive testing strategies across multiple software platforms
  • Develop and enhance automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Create and manage test cases in JIRA to support defect tracking and validation of software functionality
  • Perform functional, regression, system, performance, and security testing
  • Identify, document, and help resolve software defects in partnership with development teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, engineering, and DevOps teams to support seamless product integration
  • Maintain detailed test documentation including test plans, cases, and defect reports
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal quality standards
