About The Position
Mercedes-Benz of Buckhead, part of Group 1 Automotive, is hiring a Sprinter Technician/Mechanic. The role is for an experienced Sprinter technician who values customer service, takes pride in their work, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team. Technicians work in an environment with tools and support intended to help maximize earnings potential. The technician performs diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, testing, and road tests in accordance with dealership and factory standards. The role also involves communicating with service advisors, maintaining an organized shop, and continuing to learn new technical information and techniques. Requirements
- Previous Sprinter Van Technician experience is required.
- Strong focus on achieving a great customer service experience.
- High attention to detail.
- A positive and friendly attitude.
- Tools appropriate to experience.
- Communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong desire to provide an exceptional client experience.
- Ability to achieve targeted goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and driving record.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certification(s), or certification(s) in brakes, electrical/electronic systems, or engine performance.
- A love of everything automotive.
Responsibilities
- Perform work efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing.
- Road-test vehicles to ensure quality work.
- Maintain an organized shop area.
- Communicate directly with service advisors about the status of service work.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques.
